Youth Membership

What is Youth Membership and who is it for?

For all girls aged 12-17 inclusive, you can join a local Women's Section Branch as an opportunity get involved with the work carried out.

What you’ll get as a Youth Member

As a Youth Member, you will receive a Women’s Section membership card, however the card does NOT carry any right of access to an RBL Club.

As an accompanied Youth Member, you will have the opportunity to attend our Annual Conference and also the chance to apply for tickets for the Festival of Remembrance in accordance with instructions given by Head Office.

Parental/guardian responsibility is fundamental in relation to participation in Women’s Section activities at any level, and contact with Youth Members will be solely through the parent or guardian of the member.

Membership Fee

All members between the age of 12 to 17 years will be enrolled automatically as youth members free of charge. Youth membership will expire once turning 18.

Interested in joining?

Great! Please ask your mother/guardian (who must be a Women's Section member) to sign you up - there's two ways they can do it:

  1. Online: Go to Become a Member, select the tab for Youth Membership and complete our online membership application form.
  2. Via Post: Print and complete the Membership Application Form and take it to your local branch. If you don't have access to a printer, you can request a form by using our contact us form.
