National Branch Membership

What is National Branch Membership and who is it for?

Our National Branch (also known as Pall Mall Branch) has been set up for women are unable to spare the time to attend meetings and fundraise, but would still like to support our work and be kept up to date with news, events and activities.

Joining our Pall Mall Branch is a great way to familiarise yourself with the Women’s Section before deciding whether to take up full local membership. Your membership will also allow you to visit different WS branches and should you then wish to join a local branch, the option will be available.

What you’ll get as a Pall Mall Member

As a Pall Mall member, you’ll receive The Women’s Section’s quarterly magazine, as well as other regular newsletters and mailings to keep you up-to-date with news and events taking place around the country. You’ll also receive a Women’s Section badge and a membership card which will enable you to visit your local RBL club.

You’ll also be entitled to attend our Annual Conference - a 3 day event which brings together branch delegates from all over the country to review the work of the organisation and vote on the resolutions that form the backbone of Women’s Section policy and welfare.

You’ll also have the opportunity to apply for tickets to the Legion’s most sought after event, the annual Festival of Remembrance.

Membership Fee

Pall Mall Membership costs £10 per annum and is payable by cheque, postal order or standing order. Overseas membership is £11 per annum

Interested in joining?

Becoming a member is quick and easy – just follow the three simple steps below:

  1. Print and complete the Pall Mall Application Form (if you don't have access to a printer, you can request a form by using our contact us form.)
  2. Enclose a cheque for £10 made payable to the RBL Women’s Section. We are unable to accept payment by direct debit but if you'd like to set up a Standing Order, please fill in the SO form attached to the membership application form.
  3. Return the form and check to the freepost address listed on the form.

Once we receive the forms at Head Office, we’ll send you a receipt of your payment along with your joining pack.  This consists of your membership card, a welcome letter, your Women’s Section badge and a copy of our last three magazines.
